Self-propelled Sweeper/Bedder
The self-propelled machines eliminate the back-breaking work of sweeping and bedding cubicles. They perform at a consistent level leaving the cubicles clean and applying an even amount of bedding material. Less bedding material is used so saving more money. The overall cleanliness of the cubicle area means improved levels of hygiene. Manufactured in Germany, the Kersten range of agricultural sweeping and bedding machines offer a simple solution to the problem of keeping cubicles clean and bedded with fresh material in a one-pass operation.

- hydrostatic drive to the wheels
- two sizes of material hopper - 110 litres and 460 litres, both are fitted with an agitator to keep the bedding material moving
- able to dispense sawdust or Envirobed
- lime can mixed in with the bedding
- 70cm brush fitted with adjustable height and sweeping width
- self-propelled, requiring steering only alongside the cubicles
The Stallboy is based on the 460 litre K1330L, but it has the additional features of a tipping hopper for loading bulk material and the option of an hydraulically operated scraper.

Ride On Sweeper/Bedder
The RS Rapide, built in Denmark offers the practicality of mechanised sweeping and bedding, along with the comfort and ease of a ride-on machine. The Rapide is a unique articulated steering sweeper allowing sweeping to take place around 90 degree corners and giving a turning radius of only 1.6 metres.
- powered by a 3-cylinder 23hp diesel
- drive via a gearless hydrostatic system for both forward and reverse
- standard 625 litre hopper with automatic agitation to ensure consistent flow of bedding through the wide adjustable doors in to the blower unit
- can handle sawdust, paper waste and chopped straw.
- centrally mounted brush can move through 180 degrees allowing sweeping to both the left or right hand side and has vertical adjustment from 0 to 30 cm
